Naloxone Training

28 May, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Naloxone is a drug that can reverse the effects of opioids, such as heroin, methadone, opium, codeine, morphine, and buprenorphine.

A naloxone dose can even save someone’s life if it’s used quickly after they’ve overdosed on opioids and before emergency help arrives. Anyone can use naloxone in an emergency. You don’t need to be a doctor or medical professional.

Midlothian Voluntary Action and Volunteer Midlothian are hosting a free naloxone training session  (approx. 40 mins) on Tuesday 28 May at 10am, in our offices at 4 – 6 White Hart Street, Dalkeith, EH22 1AE.

There are ten spaces available – if you would like to attend please email info@mvacvs.org.uk to reserve your spot.
